ADVISORY BOARD

In the endeavour to grow as an organisation committed to making contemporary art accessible, increasing greater interaction amongst art institutions and the public, and generating art philanthropy, we have invited a group of distinguished individuals and professionals to be on our Advisory Board to guide us in our efforts.

Arun Vadehra founded Vadehra Art Gallery in New Delhi, in 1987. A graduate in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College in New Delhi, Vadehra started his professional career in the construction business. He established the Gallery at a time when modern Indian art was still considered exotic and its access was limited to a privileged few. The gallery was born out of a vision to build an institution dedicated to Indian art, and the need for a professional platform to connect artists with art lovers. Vadehra Art Gallery stands today as one of the oldest and well respected art galleries in India, while representing a roster of artists that spans over four generations.
