Art for Children – Paramjit
Singh
Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi
October 26-27, 2007 |
| |
|
Children’s workshops are methods to
introduce children to the concepts
of art in a fun way, where education
is made enjoyable. Hands-on and
interactive, these sessions give a
free reign to a child’s imagination
and creativity. |
|
|
|
This workshop was designed around
Paramjit Singh’s exhibition titled
Nature’s Labyrinth and focused on
introducing the genre of landscape
in art. |
|
|
| Kids were able to lay back and enjoy the
interactive slide-session which walked them
through the landscapes of Van Gogh, Monet
and many more great-masters. Dharmi, our
resource person, introduced the children to
the fantastic possibilities of colours and
textures -- including Finger Drumming,
Centrifugal Art and Sponging with Texture.
Children painted their own landscapes and
took them home fully framed! |
