FICA supports educational activities,
current research, practicing artists, and
public art projects. In our first few months, we
launched an Emerging Artists Award, which
drew almost 500 applications, hosted a writing
workshop for aspiring art historians and
critics, and sponsored a public art project
with Time Out Magazine. The response to our
efforts has been encouraging and we seek to
generate enough funds to create more art
education programs to cultivate public
participation. |
