| Bhooma has a B.A. in Fine Arts
from Stella Maris College, Chennai
and M.A. in Art History from MS
University, Vadodara. Since her
post-graduation she has been
involved with contemporary Indian
art at various levels. She wrote for
and was involved in the development
of Apparao Art Gallery’s online
auction site. During her term with
DakshinaChitra, Bhooma coordinated
and organized the launch of the
National Museum for Women in the
Arts, India and other related
exhibitions and events in South
India. She played the role of
critic-in-residence at the Peers
2006 workshop at Khoj, New Delhi.
Working as Programme Officer for
FICA, Bhooma is involved in the
overall working of the foundation. |
